Overview

Our goal, throughout the years has been to achieve through negotiations secure fair wages for our membership, including, but not limited to concerns for increased pension contributions.  However, we are also committed to improving conditions on the job sites by offering a broad selection of education and training courses, and to officially introduce our apprenticeship opportunities.  Improving the skills of our members, will result in our participating employers gaining a competitive advantage over non-union companies, and this is one of our many strategies in our pledge to increasing Local 837’s market share.
